Fight street gangs in City Brawl, use punches, kicks, grabs, blocks, and weapons, collect oranges, upgrade your fighter, and defeat tougher bosses.
City Brawl is a side-scrolling street-fighting game where you battle groups of enemies across urban stages using punches, kicks, grabs, jumps, blocks, and weapons found along the way. Clearing every enemy wave completes the level, while defeated opponents drop oranges that can be spent on stronger attacks, additional health, improved weapon handling, and new fighters.
The City Brawl game follows the structure of a classic beat ’em up, but its upgrade system makes preparation between stages important. Later districts introduce tougher gangs and boss encounters, so surviving depends on controlling space, combining attacks, and investing collected oranges before your current fighter falls behind.
Before entering a stage, you select a fighter and a difficulty setting. The available options are Easy, Normal, Hard, and Insane, allowing you to adjust enemy pressure according to your familiarity with the controls.
Once the fight begins, enemies approach from different sides of the street. You must defeat the current group before the next wave arrives. Ordinary gang members may attack quickly or surround you, while stronger enemies and bosses require more careful blocking, spacing, and counterattacks.
Your health bar must remain above zero until the stage is cleared. Oranges dropped during combat serve as currency, while bananas can restore health. Street objects and crates may also contain fruit, weapons, or additional rewards, making them worth breaking when the area is temporarily safe.
These controls are listed on the 1Games.IO version of City Brawl.
Punches are fast and useful for interrupting nearby enemies. Use them when an opponent has entered close range or after successfully blocking an attack. Repeated punching can keep one enemy under pressure, but concentrating on a single target for too long may allow another attacker to approach from behind.
Kicks offer more reach and can push opponents away. They are useful when several enemies are closing in or when you need enough room to reposition. A well-timed kick can stop a crowd from compressing around your fighter.
A grab can control an isolated enemy or help you use a weapon found in the environment. Attempt it after creating separation from the rest of the group. Grabbing in the middle of a crowd may leave you exposed to attacks from other directions.
Blocking becomes increasingly important on higher difficulties and during boss fights. Instead of attacking continuously, watch for the enemy’s approach, defend against the strike, and respond during the opening that follows.
Jumping helps you change position, avoid being trapped, or begin an aerial attack. Use it to escape crowded corners, but check the landing area first so you do not descend into another group of enemies.
Oranges are the main progression currency in City Brawl. Defeated enemies drop them, and breakable objects may contain additional pieces. Between levels, you can spend the collected fruit on four important attributes:
Bananas serve a different purpose by restoring health during combat. Collect them before nearby enemies can reach them, especially when your health is already low.
Health is a useful early investment when your runs end before the final wave. Punch or kick power is more valuable when enemies take too long to defeat and have time to surround you. Improve weapon technique when street weapons appear regularly and already form an important part of your combat strategy.
Avoid spending every orange on one statistic. High damage provides little value when your fighter cannot survive a boss attack, while a large health bar can lead to long, difficult fights when offensive upgrades have been neglected.
City Brawl includes nine fighters with different statistics and combat characteristics. Additional characters can be unlocked by collecting enough oranges, giving you alternatives when the starting fighter does not suit a later stage.
A fighter with strong punches may clear individual targets quickly, while another character may offer better health, kicks, or weapon performance. Compare the statistics before changing characters rather than assuming every newly unlocked fighter is automatically stronger in every category.
Higher difficulty settings increase the importance of these differences. On Hard or Insane, poor positioning and missed blocks are punished more severely, making character selection and upgrades part of the strategy rather than optional progression.
Punching without considering enemy distance makes your behavior predictable and leaves you vulnerable to attacks from the side. Switch between punches, kicks, grabs, movement, and defense according to the situation.
Opponents can interrupt your attacks when they approach from opposite directions. Move around the group until most enemies remain on the same side of your fighter.
Leaving currency behind delays upgrades and character unlocks. Collect oranges once immediate danger has passed, but do not run through an active attack simply to pick up one piece.
Street weapons may feel weak when the corresponding statistic remains underdeveloped. Invest in weapon technique when you intend to rely on them during later stages.

Yes. Weapons can appear inside breakable objects or around the stage, and the weapon-technique upgrade improves their effectiveness.
1Games.IO lists itself as the developer and gives November 24, 2025 as the release date. AZGames also publishes a browser listing for the game.
City Brawl rewards more than rapid attack inputs. Reliable progress comes from keeping enemies on one side, blocking dangerous strikes, collecting resources at safe moments, and improving the attributes that limit your current fighter.
Use quick punches at close range, kicks to restore space, grabs against isolated targets, and upgrades before tougher stages. As the city’s gangs become stronger, balanced combat and careful positioning provide a more dependable path through every City Brawl level.
